DNAML has announced plans to roll out a
number of FREE upgrades to their newly released ‘PDF to ePub’ software wizard.
PDF to ePub Version 1 has taken the
publishing industry by storm, allowing users to quickly and effortlessly
convert PDF documents into the ePub eBook format.
Since the release of PDF to ePub, DNAML has
introduced a set of FREE upgrades amongst which included the ability to:
- Convert PDF documents to Kindle eBooks
- Customize the front and back covers of ePub
eBooks
- Auto index recognition
- Extraction and inclusion in the ePub of
Bookmarks (internal linking within the eBook) and Table of contents
residing with the PDF document
- Support for multi-column displays in ePub
conversion from PDF
- And many other features which have made
the PDF to ePub tool the stand standout performer in PDF to ePub
conversion technology.
DNAML has now identified a number of other
upgrades which will be rolled out shortly.
DNAML Founder and Managing Director, Adam
Schmidt says: “We have had a tremendous initial response to PDF to ePub from
the adoption perspective which is beginning to grow at an exponential rate”.

just supportive comments, we are also receiving much welcomed feedback as to

DNAML is devoted to producing the

Over the next 12 to 16 weeks DNAML will
release the next set of FREE upgrades to the PDF to ePub software wizard which will
allow the more complicated ePubs to be converted automatically.
Some of the FREE upgrades will include;

Identification of the vectors from the PDF and
the conversion of them to ePub standard vector format SVG or images
·
Video and Audio extraction from PDF to ePub
·
Identification of tables in the PDF format,
creating an output of these tables to ePub in either image form or HTML table
form (HTML form allowing the tables in the ePub to be searchable).
“These features are much desired additions to the
software, PDF to ePub will be the true champion of the eBook industry allowing
for publishers to trim costs associated with production and conversion to ePub.
PDF to ePub can now convert a 300 page PDF to ePub in less than 2 minutes,
amazing really,” says Schmidt.
Free Upgrades to Version 1 of PDF to ePub
will continue to roll out over the next few months.
Within the 1st Half of this year (2010),
DNAML will also be releasing a server side batch conversion tool which will
allow of auto conversion of hundreds to thousands of PDF files to ePub,
allowing for even greater cost savings for large publishers with thousands of
titles.
Finally, to encourage greater publishing
community development of the PDF to ePub software, DNAML has introduced a ‘PDF
to ePub Members’ Forum’ on Linkedin. Search for PDF to ePub in groups on
www.linkedin.com . The forum will allow for industry participants to offer
suggestions and feedback.
