  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
How do I create tables? Can I import them from Excel?

Currently, the editor cannot import or create tables.

Firstly, create columns of text boxes with the same Text style, and paste your content into each one, column by column. Align the text boxes by making the X-coordinate the same value.

We find this effective for simple tables, such as contents pages.

Secondly, a suitable method is to use another program (such as Excel or Quark Xpress) and take a snapshot (screen capture) of the table, save it as an image, and insert it into place. We find this works well with complex tables, although it is a bit fiddly to get the screenshot to fit to your document size. You will need to crop the image to fit your page.

To do a screen capture/shot:

1. Select the program, then press ALT+PrintScreen (at same time) on your
keyboard.
2. Start Windows Paint or another image editing program.
3. In the menu, Edit > Paste
4. When it asks to enlarge the bitmap, click yes.
5. In the menu, select File > Save the image as a JPG or GIF file.

Also there is free printscreen utility, you can try from here:

http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/

This offers a bit for flexibilty, including the ability to only capture a certain part of the page as well.
